Time for a 35?

46 used to be quite a common size and was used by many of the early Pentax lenses. If you need any, drop me a PM as I have a few spares including yellow, orange and red together with UV and Skys.

Your right it's 46 on the 50 lux ASPH which is an odd size, the dealers have to order them in. Still waiting for a yellow one.

Biggles -- I think you hit the nail on the head. I'd been avoiding the fancy new ASPH lenses because I thought they would lack soul, character or some other intangible. If the 35 cron is any indication, yes, they are very "clean" as you say but not, as I was fearing, "clinical." And, optics aside, I think the 35 fl fits perfectly in my lineup. There's really only 75 or something superwide left to get, so I think the GAS is subsiding and I'm free to just take pictures (😉 famous last words I'm sure).

Tony S, beautiful shots. The UK is one of my favorite places to visit -- your pics are making me want to go back!

I have to agree. Most of the shots I've seen from the 50 ASPH have not been clinical at all either. These ASPH lenses are sharp and a bit on the contrasty side but that's as far as it goes.
