The (London) Times has as article today on the death of film and how it has lead to panic buying of film cameras. Has it? The article states that Japan has seen the effects of this so far with film cameras demanding a 'premium of £700', and that the boom may be reaching the UK shores soon. I'm not sure where they picked up their valuations from, but they reckon a silver M6 would reach £8000 and a Canon P £1500. If I sold my M6 and P for that amount I would be looking at a nearly 1000% return on investment!
I only hope that this article forces thousands of people around the country to dig out their old rangefinder gear from the attic and to make it available to us!
