I'll be surprised if this is affordable here in Oz. 100 Tmax is currently sixteen dollars per roll here!

That's why I always buy from B&H or eBay.

If it is the same emulsion, the best developer is Tmax developer.

The film fogs easily if it's out of date. I've used it just 6 months beyond expiration date and found it to be fogged.

Personally, I have no interest in using film again.

This thread has taken a disturbing twist. Normally when someone predicts the demise of Kodak we all laugh and move on and tell ourselves that Kodak will continue on no matter what because after all didn't they put the power of photography into the hands of the average person who wasn't necessarily a photographer ... all those years ago. In many of our minds, (depending on your age) they are all but immortal.

Suddenly I'm not convinced! 😕

People thought AT&T was indestructible (the name lives on but the century old company is gone). Who would have thought Nokia would have virtually disappeared? When I was a kid, Sears was THE place to shop. Now it's swirling the drain.

Western Electric was once an enormous industrial powerhouse.

RCA was a world leading electronics company.

Today Apple seams indestructible. We'll see how they are 30 years from now.

Kodak has been mismanaged beyond belief and is swirling the drain.

Who knows - maybe we'll be lucky and Ilford might pick up a few more emulsions. The film that I really miss, though, is Fuji Neopan 1600.
