people who's work we like, or people who we find attractive...

Im not much for lists but some faves, in no particular order, except for well, number one:

Sam Haskins
Willy Ronis
Anton Corbijn
Henry Huet
Jim Marshall

Don McCullin
David Douglas Duncan
Galen Rowell
Johnny Stiletto
Robert Doisneau

Regards,

Bill

Martin Parr - for New Brighton
Bailey - for Trouble and Strife
OurManInTangier - for East Anglia
Lise Sarfati - for quirkiness that reminds me of Amy Winehouse
Norman Parkinson - for 1950's fashion, and the print in my office
Payasam - for gentle portraits of older people with such dignity
David Hockney - for joiners, and his print in my living room
Bert Hardy - memories, and he got pretty drunk with me discussing photos

That's my favorite eight of my top five.

Josef Koudelka
Sebastiao Salgado
David Alan Harvey
Elliott Erwitt
Gilles Peress

Ask me again tomorrow and it'll be a different list.

In no particular order:
HCB
Fred H Evans
Frank Meadow Sutcliffe
Julia Margaret Cameron
Man Ray

..ask me tomorrow & it could be a different five.

Henry Wessel
Sebastião Salgado
Eugene Atget
Gary Winogrand
Keith Carter

edit: took out the numbers since these ain't in no order.

Josef Koudelka
Sabastio Salgado
Josef Sudek
Walker Evans
Alex Webb
Eugene Richards
Paul Strand
Flor Garduno
Garciela Iterbude
Sally Mann
Ralph Eugene Meatyard

How can you forget Lewis Hine, Alfred Stieglitz, Nadar, Emerson and Robinson, and of course myself . . .

There are too many this question is making me go crazy . . . then I think Ralph gibson, Paolo Pellegrin, James Nacthwey, Harry Callahan, Debbie Fleming Caferty. and of course myself, but I think I may have already mentioned this. there are just too many to list to five that have inspried me for one reason or another.

I leave at that, but I would also like to ad myself to this list.
