Robert Doisneau, Ralph Gibson, Eugene Atget, Richard Avedon. Robert Capa, Andre Kertesz, Ralph Eugene Meatyard, Jeanloupe Sieff....

the truth is that yeah i also like Robert Frank , William Klein , August Sanders ,
Stephen Shore , Martin Parr , Jeanloup Sief , Wolfang Tillmans , Guy Bourdin ,
Steven Klein , Camilla Akrans , Willy Vandepre , Inez & Vinoodh , Mert & Marcus ,
Lucas Samaras , and many more but i think for this period my favourite five are the people i mentioned in the beggining.

i like this response because i have learnt some photographers that i did not know.
at least to me this is more interesting than talking about cameras and whether M8 needs a full frame sensor or not.

what do you think?

ok ok dont kill me ok it was only a suggestion

David Goldes
Gilles Peress
Edward Weston
Minor White
Cindy Sherman

The list will be different in ten minutes. Well, not the one I just wrote, but the one in my head.

In no special order:

Robert Capa
HCB
Alfred Eisenstadt
Lee Miller
Ansell Adams

Its funny but looking at this list makes me realise that number 1,3 and 4 I have included as much because I admire them as people as much as what they achieved as photographers. The others are just brilliant and ground breaking and virtually created their own style.

At this moment and in no particular order

Leonard McCombe
Alfred Eisenstadt
Irving Penn
HCB
Eli Reed

Robert Mapplethorpe
Andre Kertesz
Richard Avedon
David hume kennerley
Michael Fatali

Pretty much in that order

W. Eugene Smith
Jeanloup Sieff
Sante D'Orazio
Doisneau
Michel Comte
