Thanks guys. I've felt like crap tonight (I think I'm getting over yet another stomach virus), but tomorrow will be good. It's also Wednesday. First photo posting day of March Madness. 😉

Flowers. I have some just plain flower shots, but they lacked RFF character. This image is NOT from an RF, but rather from my old Pentax 645NII. Somewhere along the coast of California, I think south of San Francisco.

If I understand correctly, that "international" only refers to most socialist countries. Nevertheless, hope all women around the world had a wonderful day.

Back then in China where I grew up, that was the day off for...check this out...only women. Men still went to work and did what they had to, plus some more because no women were at work. There would be movies for them and other events, most of them for free. My father created his version of the day by asking my brother and I do all the chores around the house after school on that day so my mother could take the day off and then complained to us all at the dinner table.

It was one of a few things Chairman Mao did right. The rest...well...ya no...

I don't think they are still doing that in the country these days. But in our house, the tradition continues...
