To M8 or not to M8, that is the question.

That is true. I shot many great IR photos with my M8, I recently tried it on both the M240 and M9 and the results were nowhere close to the IR on the M8. The base ISO 160 is also outstanding. For me, many of my shots are indoors and in relatively dim areas so this was no viable.

If you can live with those limitations, by all means go for it.
