Hope you all won't mind spending a few moment's checking out my photo's from today.

These aren't the best in the world, but I love them all the same. The negs are a little strange. I bulk loaded, then heated it over the hob for a while. After I'd taken the photo's today, mostly at f2-4 and 1/120-1/60, I heated up the kettle. I used warm water in the processing, and developed the negs for 20 minutes using around 1+14 jessops unidev. So all in all I had a right cock-up and mess around. I'm surprised these have turned out not too bad!. The negs appear black, until held to the light.

Also, only one photo has been levelled in photoshop, otherwise these are just as the negs appear. Also please try to ignore the dirt on the negs I have yet to sort out.

Any comments are welcome (I'm hoping for a bit of a mixed response!)

Thanks

Ash

yes, i bothered looking through the rangefinder to focus properly at the photo's of Tom (friend) 🙂

Keep on shooting and post results here for others to critique. While some like to have people out of focus in the foreground, most will suggest to you to better compose by making sure that no extraneous objects show up in your foreground. Try some shots wide open to throw the backround off-focus. With scanning, you can crop parts of the photo out and leave what is interesting. Good work.

Thanks for the comments 🙂

It does seem that he is ridiculously comfortable in front of the camera, even when I tried to catch him off-guard.
