Dayum - these are all really strong! I'm a sucker for snappy B&W (which these are) but the images themselves are all really interesting...great stuff.

Great series. I have stood in almost the identical spots of a few of them. Thanks for sharing these.

The one with the rear view mirrors on the motor bike hiding the girls face and showing the mans really stands out to me. One of my favorite images in a strong set.

The photos are great; I'm not a fan of the tonality, but the content overcomes that. Like others, several of these sites are places I've been to, exactly where you were.
Does anyone else find something about shiromukus incredibly creepy?

@ Colin Corneau, thanks! I'm a fan of snappy B&W too lol.
@ gavinlg, thank you! I've still got a few but these are perhaps my faves.
@ Ken Ford, appreciated
@ Faintandfuzzy, Thank you. Japan just inspires me to keep shooting, never a dull spot to be honest. There's just so much going on everywhere, a feast for the eyes.
@ Henry Schimke, that's my fave too. I keep going back to that shot myself.
@ Freakscene, i would have preferred to use the default Arcos setting on the Xpro2, but since the X70 doesnt have Arcos, i edited everything via silver efex instead - but that being said, some of the Silver efex film presets do go alittle overboard with the tonality/contrast. Glad you're liking the images though! cheers!
