In a vain attempt to find a Leica camera some Goodwill employee is selling for 5 bucks I check the Goodwill website often. Today I found the Canon P that seems very under priced (?). I hope to god I am not blowing this for someone but I figure you guys in the Canon RF club already know about this site:

Reciprocity Failure
Even if you have to spring for a CLA and minor repairs, it's a bargain.
Good luck.

It looks to be in pretty decent external shape, and it appears to be offered w/ the 35/1.8 lens. If someone's looking for a P... (not me)...

My wife would kill me if I made a camera purchase but if I was looking for Canon P I think I would place a bid. Must resist temptation......!!

it looks to be a 35mm f2.8 lens and it could be hazy and/or fungus galore.

Goodwill is always a good site to pick up cameras on the cheap--I got a Yashica Electro 35GS for $12 (including shipping) not too long ago.
I'd be interested to see how high the bids on this P go.

It does look a bit shabby from the outside and since they can not answer questions about the condition, one would have to purchase it with the assumption you made. I too wondered about that.

You're correct. I clearly need to practice reading upside down.
