Top 10 reasons RFF rocks ....

Ah. Real-life SCTV, then 😉

No, that's my day job. But more like "Fernwood Tonight."

But seriously, the wife will only let me watch people fixing houses or people cooking food. And she won't let me watch the food channel anymore when Rachel Ray is on ever since I said she had a 'major-league set of yabbos' or something like that.

Sometimes if I'm good, she let's me watch American Chopper.

This is an official "no-hate" zone. Very rare on the net these days.

In light of a few members' recent decision to commit virtual suicide and leave RFF ... here are the reasons why it is worth staying and making our "pub" different.

I'll start with number 1 ;-)

Poor guy just wanted to thank another member for a great lens.

I know your intentions were good but bringing arguments and linking to bad threads on another forum is a recipe for disaster. The last thing we need in light of recent events is a bunch of folks from another forum jumping on this just to make noise and defend the undefendable. My rule for using this forum is to keep it posative and I try as hard as it is not to comment when I believe no good will come from it.

Because I can ask if anyone has ever heard of a Norwood Director light meter and expect several yes's and a few I have one

And several will tell you how to adjust it and offer to re-cover it in pink lizard skin 😀

Rachel Ray is a native of Lake Luzerne, NY where she still has a house only a stones throw from Warrensburg where I am now. How did I miss her??? She very recently got married. There is a raging rainstorm outside right now. Tomorrow if the weather clears up, back to NYC where I await a Voigtlander Vito and Agfaflex very recently won on E-b*y. Problem is I remember these cameras in store windows in Germany when they were new and I was young.

I'll have to echo the "everyone gets it" reason. Almost no one I know in person, will do any thing but get glassy eyed and star edging towards the exit if I start talking about cameras/photography. A few of them pretend pretty well but it's mostly a case of "you're my friend and I like you in spite of this obsession."

I'm relatively new here, but I have to echo what many have already said. A terrifically friendly and helpful group of people here! And wow, I can't believe that I am reading about Rachel Ray and Giada De L... here! I am a Food Network fanatic!!

We all have to eat and if you can work a darkroom you can work a kitchen. Now if Rachel was here to help me............She is only 10 miles away when she is not working.
