Does anyone have a Topcor 90/3.5 lens for LTM and could you tell me it's filter size?

The LTM Topcor 90/3.5 lens takes 34mm screw-in accessories. A 36mm clamp-on hood will work too.
Tokyo Kogaku made a hood for this lens, and they also made a range of 34mm filters; they are all, especially the hood, pretty hard to find. On mine, I use the hood for the black/chrome Canon 100/3.5.

One thing I like about these premium 50's/60's era Japanese rangefinder lenses is the machining. Note the carefully milled channels on the aperture and focusing rings - this is some serious metal cutting for a consumer item like a camera lens. Considering the relatively small production of something like a Topcor LTM lens, this was probably done with hand operated machines in small shops. Later more mass produced lenses replaced some of this craftsmanship with rubber grips and knurled rings and the like.

Beautiful lens and I agree with David, most of the allure for me about these classic pieces, is the quality craftsmanship which has gone into the manufacture.Light weight aside, give me some Metal!
