It is not, wants me pay for subscription.
So, as alternative, I'm in Milton, Ontario and I introduced two sons of my local friends to film photography. One is currently learning how to expose by handheld meter.
Another is using camera and lenses I gave him in addition to his film cameras. I teached him how to develop and print.

Typewriters, too, are now cult things. I recently saw a documentary on that. In Toronto, we actually have a typewriter place that was featured in the film:

Enjoyed the article. I’m going through a similar experience now with my 8 year old son. I gave him one of my old analog cameras and loaded a roll Kodak Gold 200 into it for him. He’s been shooting it slowly and methodically for the last month. We shoot together and I give him suggestions on exposure settings for each shot. After he’s finished, I’ll get it developed and we’ll scan it together.

The camera I gave him is one of the least user-friendly I have: a Konica IIB. I figured, if he could survive using this thing and still have some desire left to take more pictures, then his interest in photography will be true. If it works out, I’ll offer my Oly Pen-F, a much more user friendly camera, in trade for the Konica. He also has my old iPhone, so I’ll show him how to use the light meter app for making his own exposure readings.
