Following up on Peter's shots, it was another really pleasant get-together as we gathered at The Rex and talked shop about rangefinder cameras. Dave and Victor brought some fine prints for us to enjoy, and the focusing fluid added to the conviviality.
Besides my M2, I had along a little Canon S45 digital peashooter and took some available light snaps at the table.
1. L to R: GeneW (me), Dave, Jan, John (Flashover), Victor, Mike (dadsm3), and apologies to PeterC on the far right. All I got was his shirtsleeve.
2. L to R: Victor, Mike, Peter
3. Dave and Jan discuss the merits of goggled lenses
4. Peter taking the photo of the pedestrian outside
5. Reaction to hearing there was another 'film is dead' thread on RFF

And there's more. Now the STARS of the show:
1. Dave's IIIc against an exquisite setting of amber
2. A gathering of fine rangefinders
3. A Leica picks up a buddy -- a digital Minox with pretensions
4. One of Mike's superlenses

Great shots! Had an excellent time meeting you guys......Dave's IIIc is just gorgeous! At the risk of sounding like a hick, what a town for street photography!....Toronto has it all. The Rex is a great spot for this kind of thing.....so much to see within walking distance.
Looking forward to the winter festival shots at city hall.....
Thanks to Dave for setting this up, looking forward to future get-togethers!

Are you sure that wasn't just from all the lovely amber liquid that was being consumed.

Nice stuff, Peter! Nice to have 1-hr developing in your basement!......I'm jealous. It's going to take a week to get my Tmax developed and put on disc...

Mmm...I like amber liquid. You guys have taste so I'm guessing that what you were drinking was pretty good stuff. In Iowa, most people buy Bud Light, Miller Light, or Coors Light. Save me from this horrid, horrid beer!
