Nice gabfest. good shots. I decided I would not "cheat" and did not bring a digicam. I popped a roll of TMAX into my Rollei 35 and popped away.

I took it to my usual photo lab and they send B+W film out so I won't have it back till Friday. Not sure what I got since I don't have a battery for the meter but I used to be pretty good at gauging expsure.

Some very impressive equipment on the table. Loved that Contax II!

Good spot to have a session like this.

I look forward to the next one.

the only thing i might consider buying with the leica name on it would be the m9...ya know, if i had 7k.
 
Nice meeting you all! Sorry I was kinda shy and didn't get around to chatting with everyone... a rectangular table isn't very conducive to moving about. Cindy enjoyed overhearing the healthcare discussion :)
 
I think it was Nancy and Frank S that organized this. Thanks for doing so. Nice to meet a few new faces. Did a get a couple of shots with my Contax IIa but need to finish the film and probably wont develop them for a few days. It was fun. Lets not wait another six months before doing it again...

I'm really sorry I was unable to attend.
We had 20 people for dinner on Saturday evening to celebrate Rosh Hashana, (the Jewish New Year) so I stayed home to help my wife get everything ready.
I'll make it to the next gathering.
 
I'm also sorry I couldn't be there. Like Burlap Jacket, I was taking in the last day of the film festival. There was some consolation though. Gear talk at the Q&A for La Soga, a film from the Dominican Republic. It was filmed with the Red. Today the Red, tomorrow the GH1. Well maybe not tomorrow, but within two years I predict. In the meantime, I hope there is an RFF meet around the Christmas holidays this year,

I was so happy to see all of you before I shoved off for the west coast! I forgot to get email addresses, business cards, and other contact information. Anyone who would like to sign up for my notes from the road, message me via RFF. :D


P.S. I plan to return for Christmas... is it too early to schedule a little meetup? I will even bring my Kodak Signet! :)
