Dear All,
Not sure where this post should belong to - has anyone used Toshiba lens filters before? Where do they stand when compare to Bower, Tiffen, Kenko, Hoya, B+W, Heliopan? The brochure said the optica glass was fused by Toshiba itself, but didn't mention any coating - maybe not coated at all?
Thanks.

Well, I own one Toshiba red filter, but I can't tell if it's coated or not. I think it might be, but I'm not at all sure. If anyone knows a sure fire way to tell, maybe they'll let us know.

Look at a reflection of a light bulb off the filter surface. If the reflection is bright and uncolored, then the filter surface is uncoated. If the reflection is dim, and has a purple hue (for example), then there is a coating on the surface.

Thank you gentlemen. I would be surprised if they are indeed coated, since the brochure doesn't mention it at all. Merry Christmas BTW
