my changing bag arrived today and as it's brand new it's in great shape.
i have been waiting for this so i can load film during the day without any need for concern re. fogging my films.

i eagerly cut the parcel open, by the very edge, only to find that i had cut into the changing bag.
on both sides...it was folded.

that's a wasted 22 bucks.

Joe, there is such a thing as black duct tape, you watch Red Green I presume, and you're in Edmonton. I don't see a problem here.

Alright, Joe - it was "dumb" at least if you cut deep.

But maybe it was "poor packaging"?

Yeah, it was "poor packaging". ;)

Want ribbing, joe?

Good thing you didn't use canned air! :)

Well... there goes another tool to keep hidden unless it's a big emergency.

Wait, did you use scissors or knives? Just wondering...

Now, seriously... Sorry to hear about it, Joe. :( But I don't think it's necessarily your fault. From now on, open packages assuming they were not made by the brightest bulb in the lamp.

Now, remember: there's always black tape! :)

Look at the silver lining, Joe: nobody will ever steal that bag! :D

Joe,

Here is a new tool that you can use to open your packages and remove all doubt about the package contents surviving.

now that's better!! lol!

it was a large mailing bag, with the bubble wrap on the inside.
i used scissors and the changing bag went to the edges of the mailer.
not very good packaging.

i emailed the seller and advised that he might want to rethink his packaging or at least put a warning on the parcel.
no word back...

Ouch. Students of mine have done that by taking scissors into the changing bag with film cannister, tank, reel, beer opener, etc.

There is this invention called the sewing machine. Select black, light impervious cloth and sew on a couple of layers on both inner and outer bags. Voila! Like new. Ugly, but it'll work.

Now, if I just knew how to sew you could send it to me.

Hey, maybe he could use some of those "iron on" patches?

Joe,

You really need to slow down when you are excited! Hide all sharp instruments and canned air BEFORE you start on anything ;)

I know what it's like cuz I'm the same type of klutz, recently bought a pair of in the ear earphones for my mp3 - cut one right off when I opened the pack with scissors. Good job I bought them at the £1 shop.....

climb into the trunk of your 7 series BMW. The newer ones have a lime-green day-glow release handle inside so you can get out again.
