Canada, eh.
I'm trying to find a way to aquire a 50mm f2.8 Elmar, either the original version or the current version. The only option I see is to offer my Hexar AF camera with flash and leather pouch. ($ to make up any difference in value either way) If this sounds interesting to you, let's talk.

I've posted this in the Classified Trade section, but want to mention it here for greater exposure.

The Hexar AF 35mm f2 lens is special and has captured some great (IMO) images for me.

The KHAF is an outrageously good piece of kit. If I had an Elmar to trade you, I would, to have a backup.

I'm just cuckoo for 50's I guess. Still looking for the lens that "talks to me" and it's exciting to acquire something you've never had.

I know it's not logical in a way, because the Hexar AF offers a capability that my other cameras don't (although I do have a Minilux) whereas the Elmar is jsut another lens with a 50mm view and I have several of those already.

I'll be back in 3 hours or so - Leafs game is on, and my neighbour/game-watching buddy got a new 52inch plasma TV on the weekend!

Hmm best fixed lens 35mm camera of all time for bottom of the line normal leica lens.. hmmmm
time for an intervention. (pot says to kettle!)

Yea, Leafs win!

Selling price would be $425 + shipping. I bought the camera from the original owner about 3 years ago. Forgot to mention, it's the black model with silent mode.
