Do I keep the Mamiya7 II with Pano Kit and Polarizer filter. Or see if I can traid it for an Xpan? I'm just thinking the mamiya is a tad to big to go on my world travels. Ohhh but I love the size of the negs! Ohhhh i should stop having these ideas!!!

What would you do?

Well if you shoot a lot of medium format then I suppose it would work out to have the Mamiya, but if all you want is the panoramic, then you might as well sell it and pick up an Xpan and go with a lighter rig. Though, the Xpan is a fairly heavy camera actually so I don't know how much lighter it would truely be.

I have both cameras...I would keep the Mamiya if it was between the two. The Xpan is better made, but the Mamiya has more flexibility. If you plan on shooting only panarama, then the xpan is probably the better choice, but the Mamiya gives you the option of shooting 6x7 standard aspect ratio shots. It is really not a very big camera. I have taken mine all over the world and it is lighter and easier to carry than some of the other stuff I lug around. The M7II with two or three lenses will all fit in a Domke 803 and only weigh a few pounds. As long as you can bring enough 120 or buy it at your destination, it would be a no brainer....Keep in mind that many of your most cherished photos are probably taken when you travel; it makes sense to bring the best camera you can with you. Also, I would probably just ditch the panaramic adapter and just shoot 120 and crop if necessary, but that's just me.
