About to happen here in 20 minutes or so.

I've got apx100 in my Hasselblad cm500 with 150mm lens and 2x doubler, set at 1/500sec and f32. Will this work?
 
Clouds moved in here too now. I'll still have to finish the roll, probably the weekend, but what are your learned recommendations for development? I'm assuming Rodinal, high dilution and stand development to try and tame the "highlight".
 
Went out to the ball fields near my house and tried my luck, despite the cloud cover, but the d4mned gaps never did move where I needed them. Where we needed them, I should say, because I had a nice long chat with another frustrated would-be photographer. Proud to say we never once talked about our respective cameras.

Of course, that don't fly with this crowd. He was using a Canon AE1 attached to his telescope, I only had my E-PL1 with a Hexanon 50/1.8 plus 3 stop ND. Probably wouldn't have worked, anyway.
 
Just saw it in the daily morning TV show, impressive live stream from a telescope located in Hiroshima. The East of Japan (at least Tokyo) is overcast due to typhoon #3 passing by in the East of Japan.
 
Was just out in the back yard and got a few reasonable shots. The day started cloudy here on Vancouver Island but has cleared to broken cloud. For gear I used a 3.5" Questar scope with the dense solar filter adapted to an D300. Focal length is 1400 mm @ f/11.

At full resolution I can see ten sunspots besides Venus.

I took this about 6:45 EDT. I rigged up a pair binoculars so the exit image would shine on a piece of paper about five feet from the binoculars. Pic taken with my Olympus E-P1. The dot in the lower right is Venus. The shadow in the upper left is the "Bat" signal.

I took one today iphone through eyepiece of 12 inch dobsonian and 25mm eyepiece
beautiful clear viewing in Menasha Wisconsin!
