There was a discussion in the greneral thread about american made SLRs and I breifly thought I had a candidate. I was wrong so didn't post in that discussion.
But when I googled for info about the Aires Penta 35, I got a link to a page by an Italian collector/user(?) of Aires cameras. The page is in Italian so I used the Google translation on it and got some surreal results.
The original page: in Italian(click)
And the "translated page"(click)
One breif sample:"...they are often developed in excessive and uncontrolled way even, in the attempt to satisfy, of blandire or to even condition the requirements and the voglie of the photographers."
I'm now concerned that my voglie isn't conditioned, much less satified :(
And to be very clear, I am not making fun of non-english speakers/writers. I am making fun of computer tanslations and, secondarily my own inability to use other languages.
I think the page itself is nicely done. Simple no to distracting layout and good info from what I can tell. Pretty cameras, too!

Any info about the Aires Penta 35?

Any info about the Aires Penta 35?

I just saw an Aires Penta 35 in a shop window for €62. Apart from the Italian article which I also found, it seems rather hard to find any info on it. Does anyone have information, or better, some hands-on experience of that camera? Would it be worth trying out?
