I suddenly got the idea of making a translation of the quite popular book in Russia about repairs of almost all Soviet cameras (Moskva 2-5, Lubitel, Sputnik, Smena cameras, FED and Zorki 1-6, some old Zenit cameras, Kiev and some unpopular cameras) written in 1964 by Isaac Maizenberg. The book itself contains 433 pages of very detailed manual how to repair all the above-mentioned cameras. I don't know if there is somebody who will be interested in it and if there are some similar books. Also I regard I should make different editions of a translation with different materials (e.g. you can buy a version with only Zorki instructions instead of buying the full version). So, if you are interested in it, please reply and mention which price will be acceptable.

Maizenberg himself produced an english-language book, copyright 1996, but it seems to be out of print and is not so easy to find. No publisher or ISBN # so probably self-published.
i see. i found one on amazon and it is 150$. i think i will make my more affordable

Your? Last time I checked internet copies were taken out by his family request.
You better to clarify on this issue, otherwise you might be in trouble and quick. Relatives are in USA, not Russia.
I’d rather take Яковлева for translation.

Quite right; there's copyright to think about and it lasts for a long long time...
