I have quite a bit of Contax equipment, which I still love. I've visited that site many times, some good info still up.
Actually your post about sellers remorse got my attention to the Contax N ;-)
It looks like an interesting body to use. I will make sure, I try one, when I see one - I might have seen a few film bodies lately in the shops.
Unfortunately, shuffling through the available Zeiss lenses on the vintage site did not produce much interest as of focal lengths and speed.
I have Nikon and Leica stuff, which I use and feel as too much already, but surely would like to try a Contax N digital with a 35 f1.4 prime ;-)
I suppose, the super wides (15 and 16mm ) are unobtainable these days?
I will investigate the N Digital just out of curiosity.
The G series indeed looks like the high tech improved modern Leica.
A shame, it has been stopped - really too bad :-(
I never used one, many times thought about buying one though.
The went about the same as my first Leica back then (a M6 classic) - I could as well have ended up with a G2 and never gotten by the Leica ;-)
I love that this site is still up - nowadays, big sites are changed weekly with old stuff quickly removed and eventually put into some "historic" mini page.
It's funny, how the whole Contax UK site looks a bit tacky ;-) Especially the N Digital pages look like someone quickly scribbled a word document with specs listed together and got it online with two low res pictures as N Digital web presentation.
If the rest of Contax' marketing for the N Digital was only slightly similar, I understand, how it came, the 35mm Contax went down.
