I'm on a trip in the East Coast and decided that I'd only bring a Minox B and my iPhone 15 Pro along since there would not really be time to do "serious" photography and I didn't want to carry an extra couple of pounds of gear along for no reason. I've made only 10 exposures with the Minox so far, but a fair number with the iPhone 15 Pro.. It's been interesting learning how to get more out of the iPhone than I usually think it can do! :)

Looking across the Bay - Provincetown Beach, MA 2024

Lamp & Tree - Redding, CT 2024

Some Hoops, Warm October Day - Main Street Park, Tuckahoe, NY 2024

It's proven to be fun and informative minimizing equipment down to almost nothing like this. :)
There will be more to come once I get back home.

enjoy, G

Ah, Provincetown in October. You lucky devil! I'm eager to see what the Minox will do. Both it and the phone have their own strengths to exploit. Enjoy New England!

Very nice shots Godfrey. Tim Clinch in the British Black&White magazine had a regular section on iPhone photography. The title of this has changed in the last year or two to “Eye, Phone, Photography”. He’s had magazine covers elsewhere from iPhone shots. Recently he did a shoot for a sherry producer. Very early in their meetings, after reviewing his full frame and iPhone prelim proposals the role of an iPhone had come full circle. He was commissioned to go ahead with the full campaign, his client requesting that he do it with the iPhone.

So evidently you can still buy Minox film and have it processed. Nice to know! Nice work, Godfrey!

Thanks everyone! We'll see what happens with the Minox film ... I'm still at just 12 exposures on a 36 shot roll, so I don't know how much of it I'll have used in the next two days (all the time I have left). The iPhone 15 Pro has been great to use, and made some pretty nice photos! :)

I personally haven't bought Minox 8x11 film for over 20 years ... still have 50-60 rolls ready for use that I bought new, all B&W, and I process it myself (always have). But "Blue Moon Camera" sells fresh Minox film and processing. See
Vintage film cameras, supplies, and processing : Blue Moon Camera and Machine ... And when I run out, I'll buy some more, presuming I'm still hale and capable. ;)
