I used to own one in Praktina mount (yes I am eccentric). It delivered good results and was well made. I did not use it extensively however.

well i took it to the camera shop and he reckons i would be paying well over 3x the amount i paid for the lens.. so stoof that!
i think i will just learn how to use it with its fault. When i look through the viewfinder and focus on something i know should be at infinity the lens does go a little bit further. so maybe i can just reduce it by that much everytime and in theory.... it should then be in focus (?)
now to go and buy a cruddy expired test roll of b&w to try this out

okay, so i decided that i couldnt be bothered with this lens. i returned it to the seller so i can put the money for it towards the C33.
thanks for the help though guys, just came to the realization that the two problems with it were too large to want to deal with in the end.

Thomob - just saw your pic of the 135 Schacht. No, that wasn't the version I wrote about. The later ones Leitz UK sold were in black finish with chrome trim, completely different styling. Sorry it didn't work out for you.
