Morning all.
I wonder if anyone can help me with a good starting point for a dev time for Tri-X@200asa in Perceptol 1:2, please?
Interestingly the software here sees Tr-X@200asa as an email address!
Hope someone can help with a general idea.
I am trying to get this right in the knowledge that this particular combination of film and developer at that dilution worked well, but that would have been with old Tri-X. My understanding is that new Tri-X is thinner on the film base than of old, and I know that part of the purpose of the above regime was to capitalise on a bit of compensation development. So; is it possible to get compensation going on these thinner emulsions?
Lastly - given that I am interested in compensation it would help if anyone who knows about these things could give me a hint about how to encourage it in the Perceptol 1:2 developer as described above.
Thanks for looking,
Jim.
