Tri-x & Verichrome exp in 1983 & 1967.

Hi Everyone. Picked up Tri-X expired in 1983. So I just shoot it at box speed & develop longer? The same with the Verichrome it expired in 1967.

Thought it would be fun to shoot them.

I'd just overexpose it a stop. Except really grainy negs.

I bought some mid 80's TX and VP and both were so heavily fogged they were unusable.

I shot this on a roll of verichrome in 2016. The film expired in 1983. I shot it a box speed. I shot multiple rolls and all turned out well.

VP film is simply the best.
Seldom fogged and my scanner (Canon) does fogged film!
Tri-x may be ruined.
Shoot a roll, vary exposures to over expose and under-develop.
Use 20C (68F) or better, even less.
I found roughly a shoe box of film, 120 and 35 mm.
The BW all ok.
The color neg so-so.
The Velvia and Ektachrome sit there, processing too expensive..

This is Verichrome Pan expired in 1982. 127 format. Supposedly it had been kept frozen most of those years. I like it.... Enough to buy nine rolls! I also shot a roll of Tri-X which expired in 2010 but it had been kept here at home, in the attic.... It was rather fogged! Bad storage, faster film, yes I know.
