Trigger Winder Stuck

I just received a Bessa R2a from a fellow member here at RFF and although the camera is working well, I cant advance the film with the trigger winder on. The advance on the winder also does not work when it is not on the camera. Is there a switch that I need to press to engage it or is it just not working?

It sounds like the trigger winder is jammed. Check with our head bartender at CameraQuest.
