I have stumbled over a Carl Zeiss Jena Triotar 5.6/10.5 cm, unfortunately the lens is not complete, the rear part is missing. So my question is if there is anybody out there who ownes a scrap lens, with a broken or missing front part. I understand this is a longshot considering the rarity of the lens. But you have to ask to get answers!
My lens is in very fine condition and I would love to get it in working order
Please let me know if you, or if you know someone who can be of help.

I can't help with parts but I thought you might be interested to know that I own the lens in your picture, s/no. 1799541. According to Thiele only 202 of these lenses were manufactured so you might be looking for a long time for the missing bit. Good luck!

And I have #1799503. Per Ploy's post, the lens is rare, so you could be looking a long time; good luck, indeed.

I'm not mechanically-expert enough to tell you whether the rear part of the more common 5cm Tessars could be made to work w/the Triotar, but that may be a possibility. Because of the esoteric nature of your question, I would strongly recommend joining & posting to the Zeiss Ikon Collectors Group:

Other than this forum, I can't think of many other places where you might find someone w/a donor Nettax lens.
