I'm on a quest for a tripod to fit my 1934 Leica having a 3/8" screw socket. Anyone know where to find such a tripod?
Is there such a thing as a tripod with quick release plates for different size screws ... i.e. 1/4" and 3/8"?
Thanks!

Why not just stick in a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter?

Hi,
Yes, find a brass tripod bush adapter or a QR plate with a 3/8" bolt.

Manfrotto has several heads that accept QR plates and the plates are available with either thread size.

Fedka is another source.
Buy more than one, as they're easily lost and shipping is usually more than the item itself.
