I am trying to the find the member who posted the comparisons of the m8 vs film vs m9 on flickr with the still lifes. Could someone please post the link?

I can't help with the links, but I will say that the only comparison with any meaning will be of prints at least 20" on the long side.

Maybe the link is here, and the comparison is right at the bottom of the page, but Paysam is right about prints being the only worthwhile comparison.
I do these tests more to judge the hassle involved with each process and in the long run, to judge whether I could get by without large format and the Hasselblad in the studio. Outdoors, there is no contest: the stitched M9 reigns.
