I recently bought three TTArtisan lenses from BH and, so far have used them with my Leica SL2S:

- 1.5/21
- 5.6/28
- 1.4/35

Instead of discussing how good, or bad these lenses are, just post the photos you made with the TTArtisan lenses you are using. Cheers, OtL

TTArtisan 1.5/21

TTArtisan 5.6/28

TTArtisan 1.4/35

I have one TTArtisans lens. The 50mm F0.95 Titanium version, bought from Popflash.

The Titanium version uses 62mm filters rather than 67mm. Less viewfinder blockage.
Cost, about the same as the Sales Tax in Virginia for the Leica lens.

I use this lens on my M Monochrom, with a Yellow filter.
I posted these on a different leica forum, got "Well the results speak for themselves, but the lens looks ugly on your camera".

Wide-Open.

I think if I were to get back into Leica M I’d use nothing but TTArtisan lenses.

Results seem nice but not on par with the latest Cosina lenses--especially the 1,0/50. Friend of mine had a TT on his M10 a few years back; seemed to handle ok but didn't seem made of the stoutest stuff and after two years, suffered some failure (forget the specifics). Cost more to repair than what he paid for it in the first place. My buddy's 'Artisan' now sits in his study as an interesting paperweight. I think atop his divorce papers.

Maybe a good thing I’m sticking with the 907x then — always subject to change of course!

Same lens…

Yeah, all rather non-specific. The only m-mount lens that ever failed me was a Zeiss Biogon -the infamous 'wobble', which I had repaired in Saigon. When I asked the technician what had gone wrong, he replied: "Too much plastic". Cheers, OtL
