Well-known
don't know what happened at the other forum, but i'd say your work should be welcome in most photo forums.

Film is the other way
I've got no idea what "other forum" you were at but trolls are a fact of the internet. Enjoy the crowd here , it's a good one but even here the occasional one pops up. I'd keep a foot in both doors unless you have no one to relate to at the other forum. You'll know best once you've spent time here.
Jump in and have fun. As an M9 shooter you'll probably find a few other users in this place. Good luck
BTW: that second from last shot... it's a good one.

Its not TTH but RTH for Rank Taylor Hobson. Cooke Kinetal are 16mm cine objectives from the early 1960s. They are excellent. Most were typically in the old Arri S(tandard) mount.on M9, wide open. just want to share some shots here.
The interesting part is: How were these adapted for use on an M9?
Flange focal (FFD) is 52mm versus 27.8mm but beyond a 24.2mm extension (simple enough) one needs a bayonet mount. I'm familiar with commercial ArrisS->C-mount adapters but to a 35mm still camera mount--- given that the coverage of even 35mm (share the same mount) cine objectives is insufficient for 24x36--- there can't be a business case?

Thanks Ed. Will try to enjoy the crowd here. At the other forum I do have some good folks to relate to but I thought I would start exploring other fora. It's not the trolls that I'm so much concerned about but rather the inaction of the moderators that really got to me.

Ed, there are many specialists over in my part of the world that specialize in converting cine lenses/lenses of other mounts into LTM/M mounts. These involve either "killing" a M/LTM lens and planting the focusing mechanism on the cine lens, or by making one and adopting on the cine lens body by himself. you are correct that many cine lenses, esp WA ones, do not cover the 135 format ff sensors/film completely, and thus the vignetting.
i have quite a number of converted cine lenses into LTM/M mounts, including cooke, angenieux, astro berlin, schneider, and kinoptik. i will try and post more shots from these lenses later on to share.
