Twentysomething for OM or Nikon

When I shot with Nikon I had the 24mm 2.8. It's a very good performer. You will be happy with your purchase. I was about to muddy the waters by suggesting the OM 24mm 2.0, but you seem to have complimented your Nikon kit well.

Eventually, while sitting on the fence for a long time ... a very nice condition non-AI Nikkor-N 24/2.8 happened to just pass by and I had to grab that. :)

As it stands, I am keeping to the Nikon system since it is more complete (24/2.8, 50/2, 55/3.5, 105/2.5 and I may finish that off with a 200/4).

You won't go wrong with that 24mm Nikkor! Good lens! Good lens!

Good idea to fill out the Nikon line, as it's what you have the most of, and seem to use more often.

My take on wide angles is 35mm is for everyday walking around stuff. 28mm is for having to be close up, but still needing to get a lot into the frame. I like a 24 or 25mm for car photos at shows. And 20 or 21mm for a wide scenic. For back-to-the-wall situations, I can always dig out the 15mm.

The more you use your wide angles, the more you'll like them.
