Twilight in Benson AZ - Oly 25/1.8

Nice images and beautiful light.

Been through Benson many times but never explored there. Have you been to Naco on the US side? There are some pretty cool old shacks that were part of a federal work project. Unfortunately they're fenced but you can shoot through the fence. I think there were some barracks style places that weren't fenced the last time I was there. Another cool location is Bisbee / Warren. The graveyard in Warren is very interesting and the abandon A frames and mines make greatcimages although you can't get insde the fenced. There are still plenty of great shots though.

Thanks! Have to make it to Naco sometime! (I don't always let fences stop me!)

:)

if you've not been to Naco it's not much of a town.

If it's still there I can recommend the restaurant at the local golf course club house for great tacos.

Douglas is interesting but a little rough. I'd be careful if you go into any of the local bars.

I love shooting on the Me I am side of Nogales. I stay within a few blocks of the border and never had a problem. Lots of great material to shoot. Also for fantastic margaritas and food check out Laroka. It's first class food, very clean and reasonably priced. Also it's got a great atmosphere and is in a cave in the town. It's only a 5 minute walk from the border.

Awesome! Will check these out soon!

Yeah, Douglas is rough! Stated at the Gadston Hotel a couple times!
