What a weekend! For the last 15-20 years I've seen everything David Lynch released - the good, the bad and the ugly. This week I managed to drag my sorry ass down to the local DVD store and get the newly released Twin Peaks DVD box. I've held back on watching TV re-runs, and I promised to wait until I had a chance to own the damn thing.

It - is - so - good!! The scenes, the photography, the dialogue! I can't write more now, I've only got 5 episodes to go, but I'm making notes. This TV series is actually inspiring me to go out and shoot first thing in the morning.

Do you ever get kicks like this from TV, films, music - or perhaps books?

And I'm falling in love with Sherilyn Fenn - all over again :)

Yes, I've watched Twin Peaks, Buffy, X Files, and Mysterious Ways.

Then bought a ton of out-of-date E6 film destined for C41 processing.

btw. Twin Peaks is great, I've got the box too.

Carol Reed is the main driving force behind my "canting" of my work, (see *The Third Man* from 1949)

Russ Meyers stuff imspires me, Orson Welles work as well, also 1960`s Edgar Wallace movies (German) and countless other 1950`s and 1960`s movies.....

Tom

PS: Sherilyn Fenn is the bomb, wishI could have shot her back in the day in some 1950`s lingerie/bondage styles - I can just see a ball gag in her mouth ;)
