I've just scanned about a dozen rolls of film, and a few mysteries have popped up...

All shot on an M2.

Oddity #1

Any thoughts on what has happened here? Shooting 400TX.

It was only visible across these three frames, and I've shot half dozen roles since without any problems. Visible on the negs and scans.

And oddity #2

Any idea what that little bit of fluff in the top-centre of the frame is? It was there on every frame in this roll of Velvia 50, but none of the rolls before or since... It's visible on the film strips as well as the scans.

Cheers, Nick

1. Strong sunlight bled into the frame border and next frame.
2. You had a hair or fiber inside the camera somewhere around the shutter frame that was protruding into the film gate.

Thankfully nothing to worry about 🙂
