Ride, dive, shoot.
I recently got Summaron-M 28/5.6 and I'm loving it.
If Summaron 35/2.8 becomes real (I had the original and loved it), I'd be very much tempted.

... likes film again.
I very much welcome the idea of releasing those vintage lenses because many if not most copies of the originally released lenses have badly suffered from haze, scratches, fungus etc. Most challenging will be the 50/1.2, really keen to see photos taken with that lens.

I'm so out of the loop. The M10 and M10-D have been discontinued! Not that this will affect retail prices much, they will sell like normal until gone. The secondhand market is where the deals will be.
As for the Summaron, I can't say I'm a fan of this idea. I'd much rather use my Elmarit 28 and have the option to go to f5.6 from f2.8.

I think this new lens refers to the 35mm f2.8 Summaron - not the 28mm f5.6 Summaron version you're thinking about. I too had the origional and thought it was great. Fingers crossed they are going to re-release this soon!
