I've owned these for many years and was photographing items for insurance and thought some of you might enjoy seeing these.

The first as best I can tell is a model 411 first generation Rolleiflex 4x4 made in either late 1931 or early 1932. I haven't tried shooting any with it but have some 127 and think I'll give it a try. Everything seems to be working but in heavily used condition.

This is the Art Deco Rolleicord and from the numbers think it was made around 1934. It works and shot it years ago but there are a few light leaks that I think I can fix. I'll probably give it a try one day soon.

Viewing through these certainly makes one appreciate the new focusing screens.

Rollei's are such great cameras. I went with my father to the local camera department in 1955 where he purchased a new Rolleicord. He used the camera regularly and allowed me to shoot it for my high school news paper. This was in the mid 60's. My father eventually gave the camera to my younger brother and a new pacemaker Crown Graphic to me in the later 60's. My brother to this day is still using the camera and it has never been serviced although it could use a shutter cleaning after 60 years.

That Art Deco Rollei is so cool. I'd just love to have one of those. For the time being, I'll have to make do with my ex-RCAF Rolleicord, which is in fine shape and works perfectly. Thanks for posting images of two wonderful old cameras...TW
