Two Rangefinders and Two Margaritas

Just out of curiosity, is there some commercialization aspect that calls for Rangefinder Walkabout™ to be the subject of an asserted trademark? If you're not selling goods or services under that name, simply putting a ™ next to it is probably not going to help create any enforceable rights.
