Negative Nancy.
I've had a Type 1 Varifocal finder for a few months now and it's always worked quite well. After not using it for a few weeks I shot a roll with it mounted on my S2 while in DC this week. Just now, while camera fondling, I realized that it's very difficult to turn the ring which changes the field of view. It used to be fairly easy, now it grinds a little bit and appears to be getting more difficult. Anyone know any easy fixes? Any experience having these repaired? Is it just a lubrication/helical issue or something more complex. At any rate, I really like this finder and intend to have it repaired if possible. Thanks for any advice.
