Ugh! How did this happen?

I was at a wedding with my M7 when all of a sudden I could barely push down the shutter button and when I did it just stuck there. At least I had a soft release attached so I could pull it back up. Then when I advanced the film, the lever seemed to be caught half way through. Later on that night I must have clicked the shutter (with no film) and advanced the lever about 50 times and now it seems fine. What happen?😕

Probably just a film chip that has cleared itself! 🙂

Yeah. I would say jammed film and/or a failure to rewind fully.

The soft release. When you tighten it on, you have to rotate it back a little bit.

I'd second that, same problem on the CL, when you screw it in too tight it might block the release...

Thanks I will try this. But there was also a difficulty with the advance lever.
