Uh, what is THAT...?

I'd be half tempted just to see the lens... 50/6.3 ?!?!?! :bang: 😀

It looks like a mix between a rangefinder and an slr, but I somehow doupt its either. Anyway, that ebay ad would make an even better infomercial.

Finally the new canomatic model. 😉 Who wouldn't like a camera that looks like a playmobil SLR. 😛

It looks as much as an SLR, than a desert storm leica copy (see a previous post) looks like a real leica III 🙄

For that money you can buy a nice Fed-2 or almost every other FSU rangefinder. And those will probably really work. 😎

Never seen a camera with "Motor Drive" on the lens barrel..........
Is the Loaf included???
Ahhhh the sneaky seller!! He doesn't mention the fact that
the batteries have a Jan 05 Expiry!! Crafty!
OOOOOOOH it has a colour viewfinder!!

IT must be a rare collectors piece!!

But will somebody tell me what an Acrodynamic design is?

Dangerously Cheesy!

I have deciphered the sliced bread, It infers that the quality of the lens is so sharp one could cut bread with it.

Clearly I need something to do.

No aperture controls, no focus control, no speed control.
'Aerodynamic' is obviously for when the buyer recieves it, realises they've spent $20 on a complete POS not even worth 50c, and throws it hard against a wall.

These things have been around for ages under various guises, though usually with a name that sounds vaguely like "Nikon", like "Nippon", "Nikkei", etc. They are of course junk. Alfred Klomp over at "Alfred's Camera Pages" wrote up a funny "review", here:

What's amazing is how many people have been suckered into buying these things - looking through the seller's previous auctions, people have paid all kinds of money for it! I even found someone who'd paid $57 for it! Could have had a nice Zorki for that kind of money!

I saw something similar at a local pawn shop some time ago but I'm sure it's the same item. It's totally cheap plastic. He has an $18.95 shipping charge and his actual cost would be four bucks maximum. The camera should be named the POS. The one I saw was called a "Cannon."

I love the fact that it has an "aerodynamic design". Is that for when you decide to make it fly?

I saw that and my first thought was that it has the aerodynamic properties of a 4x4 post. I'll bet it has a terriffic glide ratio too! 😀

Wow! Colour Viewfinder..... Must be a real important feature. That means normal cameras have it in black and white. Just got to get it.

It's aerodynamic too! Just imagine, the camera cuts through air with ease as you go about your picture taking.

Must be some new breakthrough in camera technology!
