I just PMed him. I did message him through the Flickr, blog and Instagram that he linked but I haven’t heard a response. I feel bad for bugging him but I feel like he’s the only one that can could clue me in on my problem lol

Ok I think I found the light leak on my camera. Not sure what to do about it.
With putting a powerful flash light on the left rangefinder window I can see the flare. Looking at my photos it does seem that the flare happens when the camera is pointed towards a light source.

That should be a simple fix. Just put a little of this in the gap. It's flexible and totally light tight. I use it all the time to repair holes in camera bellows.
