uk contax g2 spares?

Hello,

Does anybody know where I can get Contax spares in the UK? I've emailed Alpha Digital, named on the Contax website as the continuing 'official' repairs + stockists after Contax bit the dust, but nobody bothered to return my emails. Maybe they now don't 'do' Contax...?

I'm looking for a rubber eyepiece for my G2 body. Any ideas?

Did you check Zeiss's website for a couple of other EU countries and/or the US -- with respect to the local service provider for Contax? Maybe they would be more responsive to your request?

Other than that there is always the 'bay.

Good Luck -- I got tons of Contax stuff myself (although no G gear), and I dread the day something will stop working! I had a couple of C/Y lenses serviced by Zeiss in Germany (which worked out really well), but the first things they asked me was whether it was an N or G lens and/or a camera body, since they don't deal with any of those...

Try Tocad in NJ USA. They deal with Contax repairs over here and have just sent out eyepiece covers. If they can't 'do' UK, perhaps they can point you in the right direction.

Try phoning them and ask for Emma. I had my lenses with her for service earlier this year and she did a good job. Not sure whether they still have rubber eyepieces for the G2 though.
