Hi

Does anyone have a link or recommendation for a film lab in the UK,what I am after is getting my 120 film processed coupled with scanned to disc. A postal service lab would be good, Thanks for any help in advance

I use A&M Imaging in Edinburgh. Not sure if they do postal though but I can check when I'm there this afternoon or tomorrow.

that would be very kind if you could check, I do have friends and relatives there who could collect stuff for me

I usually use http://www.club35.co.uk/ . The first time you download and print their order form to send off with the film. When you get your film, prints, CD back as applicable, they also enclose a pre-paid envelope and fresh order form for use next time.
Their scanner is the NORITSU KOKI QSS-3203, which gives results that I like, far better than my 'cheapo' flat-bed.

PS The 35 in their name doesn't imply just 35mm film ;) in fact most of what I send them is 120., and of course they will print from digital files as well if required.

where abouts are ag based, thanks for the recommendation by the way

Ag are based in Birmingham, UK. They are local to me and I have had many dealings with them. Their film processing department is fairly new.... they have merged with Metro-labs which was a longstanding lab in Birmingham. The previous owner of Metro-Lab now works part time at Ag and does their E6 processing.

I have never had any trouble with either Ag or Metro but some have found Ag to be a bit slow.

EDIT: here is the link:

Gentleman thanks for all the recommendations, at present I plan to use labs but in the near future I will get a darkroom up and running again, its been a while since I had my own darkroom, I have probably forgot all that I knew regarding the darkroom environment

Digital lab are in Newcastle if you want something closer to you. Not used them for years, but saw some prints they made recently and the quality seemed very good. Prices look ok.
