Uk free lens deal - how long did you have to wait?

Hi,

If you're in the UK and took advantage of the BOGOF deal, how long did you have to wait for the free lens to arrive after posting the form?

I ordered the X-Pro1 body and the 18-55mm zoom - the body arrived yesterday but the 18-55mm is on back order (I think they're only currently available in X-E1 kit form). Straight away I posted off my claim for the 35mm f1.4, but for the time being I have no lenses! I spent all of last night pacing around the house *pretending* to take photos. Admiring the depth of the blacks, etc etc. I'm not dealing very well with this pleasure/pain thing!

My 18mm lens took two weeks to arrive.

I sent to them an email asking how long it would take for it to arrive only for the courier to turn up that very day. Weird timing! 🙂

I sent the form on the Monday and received my lens (35mm) on the following Saturday... hope it's as fast for you..!

It arrived today!! Right now, on the 3rd working day after I sent the form by Royal Mail, handed to me at my desk by our Stores guys. Free of charge. Amazing!

Great job FujiFilm. I'm totally impressed. Consider me now an advocate and a customer for life...

I doubt it'll be the same price range judging by the 14mm price compared to the 18mm. The 60mm ought to do me nicely. We'll see what Fujifilm comes up with in the new year.
