Dont take them abroad unless you have receipts, customs will have the shirt off your back.

The other big variable is how the "seller" describes the item your buying - If they describe the camera in such a way as to arouse suspision (Ie describe a hand printed photo as a "work of art" etc) That could add to the duty you pay!
