Ultron at the road-side

Thank you, Robert. You flatter me. Trius, if a road-side barber's chair isn't comfortable, you could try sitting on the pavement.

Very nice photos, I hope to be able to do a teensy bit of travelling in India next year for a mere 2 weeks (well, I can't take off any more time at once from work) but this just spurs me on even more.

Really like the Ultron by the looks of these photos. I was considering a 50mm f/1.5 Nokton as my fast lens (I have just got a M2 with a Color Skopar 35mm f/2.5) but maybe a fast 35mm will compliment things nicely....

Vicky, I hope you have a good two weeks in India. It's a large and remarkably varied place, which needs much more time, but of course you will have other considerations. I'd advise you to keep the Skopar 35 and get a Nokton 50. The reason is that -- my opinion -- the 50 is probably the most flexible of lenses for 35mm, good for everything from landscapes to fairly tight portraits; and a fast 50 is a blessing. If you touch Delhi, I am 987 355 3167.

Mike, thank you. It's words like yours which spur people on to do more and better work.

My Skopar 35 is the only lens that's ever been on my M6, though I do have the 28/2 Ultron coming sometime this week. It's a very good lens (the Skopar). For a bargain priced 50 I'd recommend the Canon 1.8. It's relatively fast and can usually be had for less than $200 USD.
