Leica LTM Uncoated thrifty fifties

Thanks. The B&W is Ilford XP2. The color shots are probably all Fuji Superia 400. If I list the lens, I'll probably do it here first, along with a bunch of other LTM gear.

The summar is definately a good compact performer for a vintage thrifty lens. I am still wrestling around with getting an elmar. I can't justify having it, but I want one.

The new Elmar-M is a wondrous thing: image quality, aesthetics of the lens design, convenience of collapsibility, just plain fun. It seems happiest on my M3 or M2 and looks like it belongs there. It is my favorite lens of all. My 50mm Summicron (latest version) is also terrific, but it usually stays at home unless I anticipate needing the extra stop.

For an LTM Elmar, the 50mm/3.5 is the way to go. Uncoated is not neccesarily a virtue unless it is cheaper.
